The request of a contractor was the trigger to found the company Albach Maschinenbau in 2006. The company, which specializes in the field of hacking and complex special constructions, has its headquarters in Menning, Upper Bavaria, in the district of Pfaffenhofen / Ilm.

Today, Albach Maschinenbau specializes in the production of self-propelled chippers and fellcranes. The Albach Diamant 2000 chipper and the Albach Fellcrane Tree Handler 1.0 stand above all other heavy equipment in class to provide forest services that meet the toughest requirements in the most demanding environments.
